Classified “Off The Beat’n Path” chapter illustrations - Coalition Music

2022

While working for Coalition Music, I was commissioned to create illustrations based on chapters from Canadian musician Classified’s book Classified: Off the Beat’N Path.

I developed and finalized 45 pieces, which were used across various formats, including emotes for Classified’s official Discord server. The designs drew from a graffiti-inspired style, featuring unfinished paint edges and a stylized approach to color, prioritizing artistic expression over realism.

Doctor Strange concept - Personal Project

Continuing my exploration of comic art, I am drawn to characters with visually striking and diverse designs, and I find the evolution of styles over time fascinating, offering valuable lessons for contemporary illustration.

I created this Doctor Strange pin-up to challenge myself by studying the techniques of vintage comic artists and exploring how these approaches can remain relevant in today’s illustrative landscape.

At Weight Loss By Gina, I contributed to projects that engaged audiences and drove growth through creative initiatives. One notable project was an educational video on water, featuring narration from a urologist on its role in wellbeing.

Building on that narration, I collaborated with another team member to break down the content and craft custom illustrations and edits. Drawing inspiration from classic cartoons like Schoolhouse Rock, we produced a video that made the information more accessible, visually engaging, andeasy to understand, turning complex concepts into an approachable learning experience.

Working with independent musician Ryan Gazzola, I serve as the ongoing visual artist for his single releases. Together, we originally developed the astronaut and whale robot characters, and I continue to create unique visual storytelling scenarios for Ryan’s singles.

In addition to these static designs, I produce animated companion pieces for Spotify Canvas and Instagram Reels to support marketing efforts.
